Porscha White, Verizon Wireless
Porscha White is a longtime employee of Verizon Wireless. She began volunteering with Shine On Sisters in 2010, and has enjoyed building genuine relationships with the student's and being a positive influence in their lives. Porscha made the decision to earn her Master’s degree in Business Administration and after a lot of dedication she graduated in 2014. Her educational journey taught her how to respond to abroad range of situations and how to communicate with a wide variety of people from diverse backgrounds. She hopes that her personal goals inspire others alike and the youth that she mentors.

Lateka (Lk) Stanley is the founder and Executive Director of Shine On Sisters (SOS), Inc. est. 2009. A volunteer-based mentoring program dedicated to increasing self-esteem, equipping girls with positive life skills and broadening life expectations. Ms. Stanley interned for Mayor Kevin Johnson’s Gang Prevention Task Force and City Schools Collaborative Initiative. In 2011, she completed the Nehemiah Emerging Leaders Fellowship Program (NELP). She was included in the Sacramento Observer’s 7th Annual 30 Under 30 Awards (2011). She has a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento. Ms. Stanley is currently attending the University of Southern California (USC) pursuing a Master’s Degree in Public Administration, class of 2016.
Kim Box is the Founder, CEO and President of Kamere, Inc. a technology company with the mission to ‘Amplify the power of inspiration to uplift humanity.’ Kim is a Director on the American River Bank Board of Directors. She is a former Vice President at Hewlett-Packard. She serves as the past Chair of the American Red Cross- Capital Region Chapter Board of Directors and serves on the American Leadership Forum Board of Directors. She led the project to produce an Emmy-winning documentary on teen substance abuse in order to educate and reduce teen addiction across the nation.
Kula Koenig serves as the District Director for Sacramento Assemblymember Roger Dickinson (D-7). In this capacity she leads the Assemblymember’s district office by supervising district staff and interns, managing community events, assisting constituents, performing district outreach and doing whatever else her fabulous boss asks of her! Her background is in community organizing, strategic outreach, marketing and fundraising. She loves being of service to her community and feels truly blessed to be doing what she loves. Kula has a B.A. from the University of California, Los Angeles and an M.B.A. from The George Washington University in D.C.
